It almost looks like summer for these tufted ducks, behind Attenborough Cricket Club.
Or early autumn.
But the world is dusted with snow.
And there’s ice on the water.
Though the birds are out in force, sleek coats as yet unravaged by winter’s privations.
And beauty abounds, mysteriously conducive.
