The Devil’s greatest victory, believers tell us, lies in his convincing our secularist age he doesn’t exist. The same goes for the Israel Lobby. 1 Even to speak of it as a thing invites McCarthyesque charges of wild-eyed conspiracism by antisemitic trope. But with the extent of Israeli criminality revealed for all the world to see these past 22 months it’s had to go into overdrive, even at cost of showing its hand more nakedly than prudence would counsel:
It’s too early to tell whether the Lobby has overreached. But its irking of the Dutch authorities may one day be regarded, if not as a watershed moment, then as an early indicator of a [attitudinal] shift …
I wrote that in the context of the Netherlands having placed Israel – after its reality-inverting influence on state and media framing of the Maccabi Tel Aviv thuggery in Amsterdam last November – on its list of ‘malign state actors’. On the latter’s significance, Kit Klarenberg wrote:
It’s the first time a Western intelligence service has acknowledged the grave hazard posed by Tel Aviv’s global Hasbara network. Will others now follow NCTV’s lead?
Good question. Let’s take a brief look at how that “global Hasbara network“ operates behind the scenes in my country. Three nodes merit a mention – Board of Deputies of British Jews, Labour Friends of Israel and Conservative Friends of Israel. All three, LFI and CFI especially, are the subject of these two videos, each just over twelve minutes.
First, Double Down News on infiltration of the Labour Party, including but not confined to the ousting of Jeremy Corbyn.
Second, Declassified UK interviews former Conservative minister Alan Duncan:

- I summarised my take on the Israel lobby in footnote 6 of Roads to WW3 Part 1:
No one should doubt the power of the lobby but, and this is the point, no one should doubt either that this power derives in the last analysis from the alignment, for reasons given here and here, of US deep state agendas [ergo those of the West at large] with those of a Greater Israel.
Because I focus mostly on geopolitics, and countering the view – by no means confined to unabashed anti-semites, and including such worthy pundits as John Mearsheimer and Jeffrey Sachs – that “Israel rules the US”, I’m usually emphasising the second part of that formulation. Here I bend the stick the other way: no one should doubt the power of the lobby.
Another great post, as usual, with videos from two of my favourite sources. Craig Murray, referred to recently, is another one, too.
Another favourite of mine is EI. Here, they have Matt Kennard with details about his investigation into British involvement in the genocide relating to spy planes and a real breakthrough is that The Times has picked up on, the mainstream media having ignored it up to now. David Lammy caught lying through his teeth, and possible evidence raising the delicious idea of seeing Starmer, Sunak and Shapps in the Hague – though I won’t be holding my breath!

Hi Barry. Yes, Electronic Intifada are very good indeed. As for Lammy, Cooper and the rest, they know they’re lying, look extremely uncomfortable – as well they should – and simply don’t know what to do. I mean, it’s not as if they actually run things, is it?
