You can see why the British media, liberal media very much included, are so excited about the antisemitism smear. That it’s scurrilous nonsense is beside the point. It’s proved their best weapon so far to damage what Jonathan Cook has called “an old-school socialist leader whose programme threatens to loosen neoliberalism’s 40 year stanglehold on British society”.
