The walled garden in Meersbrook Park

Sorrow is neither to be avoided nor wallowed in. When unsought, its visitations wash away the rust and grime of our refusal, habitual and dulling, to say yes to this brief and miraculous event we call life.

Today with Tebay and phonecam I took to the walled garden at Meersbrook. A pleasant sixty something asked if I wanted her to show me round. I declined with a smile. I wanted solitude.
