Arrived by bus yesterday at two am. Pappu in Bundi had arranged for a friend to meet me and take me to his hotel. Didn’t happen; I guess because there are two Pushkar stops and the bus driver told me to get off at the wrong one. Tuk-tuk man took me to a hotel in the middle of nowhere with all the charm of a lock-up garage on the outskirts of Rotherham. After a night’s sleep I got myself oriented, found a great hotel at six pounds the night by lake and bazaar. I’ve not seen so many westerners since leaving London but I like it here all the same.
First few shots are of or from my hotel.
I can practically smell, hear and taste it! What stunning colours.
